  • Observation & Recommendations
Budget limitations are common with non-profit and charitable organizations. As a result, organizations often compromise on the need for an effective and attractive website. However, I believe non-profit organizations can have great websites. Thus, I highly recommend re-designing the website for ‘My Daughters Can We Talk INC’ using a sound strategy.  Strategy that includes a design for conversion which guides people through the intended course and leads them to content that is most important to them. The content will inspire donations and support for the organization. This can be done by positioning conversion points that are relevant to the content around them by:
Building perceived value for the user and increasing your click-through rate (CTR).

Utilizing creative animations which can also expand and reveal additional content so you can avoid overwhelming the user with too much content at once.  Allowing the user to interact with the page to easily drill down to the content that is important to them.  This will increase engagement and decrease bounce rates.

Studies have shown the non-profit organizations that put a priority on using a sound strategy with a designed for conversion have seen benefits like increased donations, better involvement from members and supporters, increased visibility and awareness for their cause, and improved promotion for organization events. All of these things can make it worth the time, effort, and cost to create an effective and attractive website for ‘My Daughters Can We Talk INC’.
